Egypt’s Radio and Television Union to get EGP200m

The Egyptian cabinet has allocated EGP200m for the Egyptian Radio and Television Union (ERTU) to address the financial crisis that has struck the sector after employee salaries were suspended, Daily News Egypt has reported. The National Investment Bank (NIB) pledged to provide an EGP100m loan in addition to EGP100m provided by the state treasury, said Fayza Abul Naga, minister of international cooperation.
