After being awarded one of the biggest tenders in outdoor advertising in Dubai, media giant Group Plus kicked off phase 1 of its 10-year contract with the installation of 8 LED screens in the Dubai International Financial District area. The remaining 4 screens are expected to be installed in the coming months.
Strategically located in the heart of Dubai, these units will grant brands unprecedented access to a huge influx of traffic through prime spots along the Financial Centre Road, which is known for being one of the busiest roads all year round, the entrance of Dubai Mall and the highway connecting Sheikh Zayed Road to Al Khail Road.
“These 4 x 3 m LED screens offer brands a much higher level of exposure in some of the densest areas of the city,” explains Andre Zovighian, Executive Manager LED SCREENS. He added, “With advertisers now gaining first class access to one of the most prominent areas in the city – the doorway to the most visited mall in the world and the DIFC district, we see this as a great opportunity for high-end brands who stand to gain major visibility. We have received very positive feedback from advertisers so far and are already in talks with some of the biggest brands in the region who are eager to get into this rollout which will be completed by Q1 2016.”
