Microsoft’s Outlook.com attracts one million users in six hours

Microsoft has said Outlook.com, Hotmail's successor and its bid to keep users from jumping ship to Gmail and other rivals has attracted more than one million people just over six hours after the new service was first announced, Cnet has reported. The new web-based e-mail service will eventually integrate Skype, delivering a new rival to Gmail-embedded Google's Talk service.
