WPP raises 2013 outlook as revenue picks up

The world's largest advertising agency, WPP has improved its outlook for the full-year, as it reported a 5% rise in like-for-like revenues in July, its strongest monthly rate this year, Reuters has reported. The company said the second half of this year would be stronger than the first six months and it expected like-for-like revenue and growth to now top its previous forecast of over 3%. "We are running at 2.8% by the end of the seventh month, and if your target is 3% or 3% plus, you are well positioned for the other five months on the assumption we continue to grow. So I think we feel good," WPP chief executive, Martin Sorrell told the news service.
