YouTube unveils face-blurring option to protect identities

YouTube is set to launch a new face-blurring tool that will instantly blur out the faces of everyone in a video, Time has reported. The new feature allows video uploaders to enter YouTube's video enhancement tool and click "Blur Faces." Once the process has been completed, the original video can then be deleted, and the updated video can be shared without fearing for the safety of the people featured in it. YouTube, which is localised in 43 countries and available in 60 languages, has released the face-blurring feature worldwide yesterday.
