Adec trains private school teachers and leaders

The Abu Dhabi Education Council (Adec) has organised a two-day professional programme for around 50 private school teachers and leaders from across the emirate to enhance their teaching skills, Gulf News has reported. The participants are now required to train at least 20 of their colleagues in order to pass on the skills learnt, Adec said. "Our focus is to develop sustainable school improvement plans in all 186 private schools in the emirate, and to help a school move from a satisfactory and improving grade level to an excellent one," said Hamad Al Daheri, executive director for private schools and quality assurance at Adec.
