Bank Muscat proposes paying 40% dividend

Omani lender Bank Muscat has proposed a 40% dividend for 2012, including 25% of cash and 15% of mandatory convertible bonds, Muscat Daily has reported. The bank posted a 18.5% increase in preliminary net profit to OR139.2m for the year ended December 31, 2012, compared with a net profit of OR117.5m in 2011.
