Banque Saudi Fransi posts 22.2% jump in Q4 net income

Banque Saudi Fransi (BSF), part-owned by Credit Agricole, has said its fourth-quarter net profit jumped 22.2% on higher operating income, Reuters has reported. Saudi Arabia's fifth-largest bank by market capitalisation said it made SR808m ($215.5m) in the three months ending December 31, compared with SR661m in the same period a year earlier. Full year net profit rose to SR3bn from SR2.9bn in 2011, the lender added.
