Dammam University to open SR100m library in 2013

The University of Dammam in Saudi Arabia has announced a new library is to be opened next year at a total cost of SR100m, Arab News has reported. "The new central library at the university will be ready by mid-semester next year. The total cost is SR100m, of which SR86m will be spent on construction of the building," said Dammam University rector, Abdullah Alrubaish. The library will have 300 computer points and five computer labs, as well as halls and classes equipped with the latest technology.
