DHA inks Dh38m deal to add new clinics in Rashid Hospital

The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has signed an agreement with Abdul Salam and Sons Group, under which the group will construct an outpatient clinic complex in Rashid Hospital worth Dhs38m, Wam has reported. According to the agreement, the group will fully donate to build a full-fledged complex of 84 outpatient clinics for Rashid Hospital, equipped with all necessary requirements for providing diagnostic and therapeutic services, laboratory tests, X-ray images and minor surgical interventions, said director general of the DHA, Essa Al Maidoor. "The structure will consist of two floors, the first floor will be designated to labs, scanning, minor operations, arterial treatment unit, wounds treatment clinic, pharmacy, management and nursing, health insurance offices, special pharmacy, two prayer rooms, one for gents and other for dames and a cafeteria," he added.
