An Egyptian court has issued fines of $1.87m each to 20 prominent businessmen in the cement industry price fixing and breaking an anti-monopolies law, reported Reuters. The judge said the businessmen had caused 'deliberate harm to the national economy through practices like price fixing, in violation of the law governing monopolies'.
