Galfar mulling 'finance restructuring' option

Oman-based Galfar Engineering and Contracting has said it is considering different options to restructure its finance, in an apparent move to reduce cost of funds, Times of Oman has reported. "We are looking at various options to bring down bank loan," said Dr P. Mohammed Ali, vice chairman and managing director of the company. He said the company's order book position was around OR700m by end-September, 2012. "Since Oman government has a lot of plans for infrastructure development, we will get a fair share," he said.
