Jordanian health minister Abdul Latif Wreikat has said enacting a medical accountability law is essential for the country's medical tourism industry, as it would attract more patients from abroad for treatment in the kingdom, Jordan Times has reported. The latest version of the draft medical accountability law would be discussed at the Legislation and Opinion Bureau in the presence of Jordan Medical Association (JMA) members, the minister said, adding that the ministry supports the endorsement of the law as soon as the concerned authorities agree on the text.
