KIA's bid to acquire Irish retailer turned down

Irish department store Arnotts has rejected two bids made by the Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA) and a US investment bank to acquire the Dublin-based business, the Independent has reported. Arnotts' management has said they are not seeking a buyer for the business and a multimillion investment project is under way.
