The Lebanese industry ministry, the country's industrial exports in the first nine months of 2012 fell 11.3%, compared with same period in 2011, The Daily Star has reported. In September 2012, Lebanon exported nearly $253m, 3.8% lower than in September 2011, the ministry said. Metal products topped September's exports with over $46m of the country's exports. Electric equipment and appliances came second with $37m, followed by foodstuff worth nearly $32m. Arab countries grabbed 53.4% of total exports in September, followed by the European Union with 16.2% and Asian countries 12.5%.
