Mondelez International expects double-digit sales growth

The newly-formed company that emerged from the split-up of global snack giant Kraft Foods, Mondelez International, has said the Middle East and Africa region is expected to generate a "mid to high teens" revenue growth rate over the next five years, Khaleej Times has reported. Revenue from the region, which accounts for 10% of the snack food giant's developing markets' business, currently stands at $1.6bn, the company said. Following the split-up of Kraft in May, Mondelez has become home to global brands including Tang, Kraft Cheese, Cadbury, Toblerone, LU Biscuits, Milka, Oreo, Nabisco and Trident.
