Oman-based Saltic has awarded a South Korean firm a contract to build a caustic soda and ethylene dichloride plant in the Salalah Free Zone (SFZ), Oman Daily Observer has reported. Work on the project is due to begin in January 2013, with completion slated around the middle of 2015.
