One million polio vaccines given to Haj pilgrims in Saudi Arabia

The Saudi health ministry has announced more than one million polio vaccines have been given to Haj pilgrims from endemic countries, Arab News has reported. Polio vaccines were given to pilgrims who arrived at the Haj terminal from countries such as Pakistan, Afghanistan, India and Nigeria. Pilgrims who from the African belt were also given polio doses as a preventive treatment, the ministry said.
