Pakistani school facing eviction in Dubai receives KHDA help

Dubai's Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) has said it will help 700 affected students as their school faces eviction from its current premises, Gulf Today has reported. The rent committee has served Al Farooq Pakistani School in Hor Al Anz a notice to vacate its current premises, a former public school building, after two consecutive years of non-payment of rent. Although the notice allows for the immediate eviction of the school, the KHDA has intervened so that the school will be allowed to complete the ongoing academic year at its current premises.
