Saudi Arabia to launch 'Smart Schools'

The Saudi education ministry is set to launch 15 smart schools in all the kingdom's 15 regions in the next semester, Saudi Gazette has reported. The school will be provided with the necessary modern educational aid that produces students ready to face the world as responsible, thinking member of a diverse society, said Dr Ahmad Al-Dandani, director general of schools supplies at the ministry. In the first stage, the ministry dedicated eight of these schools for girls and the rest to boys indicating that the total cost of these schools is SR800m, he said.
