US lifts anti-dumping duty on Omani steel pipes

The US International Trade Commission (USITC) has decided to not impose anti-dumping and countervailing duty (CVD) on steel-pipe imports from Oman, Muscat Daily has reported. Last May, the US Department of Commerce (DoC) imposed a preliminary anti-dumping duty on imports of circular-welded carbon-quality steel pipes from four countries including Oman and the UAE. In October, DoC decided to set final tariffs, which has now been voted down by USITC.
