ADAC reports 12.6% rise in first-half traffic

Abu Dhabi Airports Co (Adac) has reported strong double digit growth of 12.6% in passenger traffic during the first half of 2013, compared with the same period last year, Arabian Aerospace has reported. Abu Dhabi International Airport welcomed 7.9 million (7,941,922) passengers and 65,072 flights between January and June 2013, representing a 10.4% increase in aircraft movement, over the same period last year. Cargo traffic also increased in the first half of 2013, with 325,737 tonnes of cargo passing through the airport, a 21.5% increase compared to the first six months of 2012, said Adac.
