AGMC the official BMW Group importer for Dubai, Sharjah and the Northern Emirates has reported its best-ever July with a sales increase of 22% for its BMW and MINI brands and 117% for Rolls-Royce.

The month-high comes on the back of a successful Ramadan campaign that further helped boost consumer spending.

Demonstrating its strong intention to enjoy yet another successful year, Osman Abdelmoneim, General Manager, AGMC said, "Our July sales results are testament to the great new range of models we introduced during the first several months of the year, and our best-sellers that continue to remain in high demand. Other contributing factors included our Ramadan sales promotions and our on-going Full Speed Ahead campaign which is dedicated to improving customers experience by providing quality and new services which enhance their experience."

The best-selling BMW model throughout July was the BMW 5 Series which saw sales increase 18%, followed by the new BMW X5 that was recently introduced into the market. Another contributing factor was the all-new BMW 4 Series product range, which comprises the 4 Series Coupé, 4 Series Gran Coupé and 4 Series Convertible.

MINI had a successful month with the MINI Countryman, the first four-wheel drive MINI and the all new MINI Hatch performing as best-sellers. Meanwhile the Rolls-Royce best-sellers included the Wraith, the most potent and technologically advanced Rolls-Royce in history followed by the Phantom and Ghost models.

During July AGMC welcomed the all-new BMW i8 plug-in hibrid sports car with its ultra-dynamic proportions, elegantly sporty lines and low-slung silhouette. This revolutionary sports car signals the future of sustainable motoring and combines the performance and appeal of a sports car with the fuel consumption of a small car.

Meanwhile the Rolls-Royce family added a new edition with the arrival of the subltly redesigned Ghost Series II which represents the essence of the brand in its purest form. This model experienced exterior changes coupled with the latest in industry-leading technology. The result is the ultimate expression of modern dynamism and luxury and a dramatic yet graceful vehicle.
