ALJ recalls 18,000 Camry, Aurion cars over fuel hose worries

Abdul Latif Jameel Co (ALJ), the sole authorised dealer for Toyota, Daihatsu and Lexus in Saudi Arabia, has recalled 18,000 Camry and Aurion vehicles produced during the period from October 2011 to July 2012 based on information received from Toyota Motor Corp, Saudi Gazette has reported. ALJ will conduct preventive inspection for the fuel hose connecting fuel supply to the engine due to possibility of becoming wrinkled during connecter insertion at factory and in rare case it could result in abnormal wear of the fuel hose, the company said.
