Bahrain Air cancels routes over ministry objection

Richard Nuttall, the chief executive of Bahrain Air has said the kingdom's transportation ministry has not approved many routes in the carrier's winter schedule, Daily Tribune has reported. The decision was made due to "some outstanding debts and taxes which have been pending since the last six months," said Nuttall. "Our payment terms were ever correct until the last six months and we are settling the dues (including that to the ministry) on priority," added Nuttall.
