Bahrain plane receives royal welcome

Bahrain Air's first aircraft received a royal welcome when it arrived at the Bahrain International Airport, reported Gulf Daily News. The welcome party for the A320 Airbus included Bahrain Air chairman Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, managing director Ibrahim Al Hamer, commercial operations director Mohammed Fakhri and maintenance and operations director Captain Ahmed Yaquby.The carrier has three aircraft already in place and plans to introduce a further four by the end of the year. By 2010 the airline intends to have 10 aircraft.
