EgyptAir annual losses seen to drop 57% in 2013

Egyptian civil aviation minister Wael Al-Maadawi has said EgyptAir, which suffered severe financial losses since the outbreak of the January 25 revolution, is set to see a 57% decrease in such losses during the 2012-2013 fiscal year, Daily News Egypt has reported. The carrier's losses would amount to less than EGP1.5bn in 2013, compared with EGP3bn recorded during the previous fiscal year, said Al-Maadawi.
