Emirates Authority tackles Toyota cruise control faults

The dealer of Toyota in the UAE has been asked by the Emirates Authority for Standardisation and Metrology to submit a copy of the technical report of a case involving a malfunctioning cruise control system, Wam has reported. This follows an accident on Emirates Road involving a 2009 model Land Cruiser that lost control at a speed of 120km/h. The authority is looking for any similar malfunctions in other vehicles to take up the matter with the manufacturer.
