Emirates has no plans to buy new stakes

Emirates CEO Tim Clark said the airline has no plans to buy stakes in other airlines once its 10-year contract with Sri Lankan Airlines ends at the end of March, reported Khaleej Times. He also said Emirates would consider selling its stake in the airline 'if the right offer comes along at the right price'. On Sunday, Emirates said that as of March 31 it would no longer be operating Sri Lankan Airlines in which it has a 43.6% holding.
