Empire Aviation Group acquires new Dassault Falcon 7X business jet for Gulf owner

Empire Aviation Group (EAG), the private aviation specialist based in Dubai, has replaced one of the company's managed Falcon 7X business jets, working with the private owner to upgrade to the latest model of Dassault's best-selling flagship business jet. EAG managed the entire acquisition/replacement process, including new aircraft registration and induction. The new Falcon 7X will be based in Muscat, Oman.

EAG manages one of the region's largest fleets of business jets and is one of the world's largest operators of the Falcon 7X, with three of the trijets under management.

The ultra-long range 7X is the fastest-selling Falcon model in the Middle East, accounting for more than 40% of sales. 12 of the advanced trijets are currently in service in the region. More than 30 Falcon aircraft have been delivered to customers in the region over the past five years, nearly doubling the regional Falcon fleet to 69 aircraft. Dassault Falcon currently operates Authorized Service Centers in Dubai and Jeddah, a spares distribution center in Dubai and a technical office in Jeddah to serve the Middle East market.

Paras P. Dhamecha, Executive Director at Empire Aviation Group, commented, "The Falcon 7X offers exceptional comfort, performance, advanced technology, flexibility and efficiency, and is particularly well suited to conditions in the region. Falcon's business jet fleet is continuing to grow in the region and the company continues to invest to support Falcon operators and owners, which is one of the key reasons that they are so popular amongst our aircraft owners. This is also a good time for existing aircraft owners to upgrade with business jet prices starting to edge higher."

Over 225 Falcon 7X jets are currently in service in 34 countries around the world and the fleet has accumulated more than 250,000 flight hours since it was introduced in 2007. The Falcon 7X recently set a new transatlantic speed record, flying between Teterboro in the New York metropolitan area and London City Airport at an average speed of Mach 0.88 and taking just five hours and 54 minutes to complete the flight. The 7X can fly into and out of airfields such as London City, that are typically inaccessible to large cabin business jets. The 7X provides the longest range of any business jet operating out of London City, allowing it to easily serve destinations as far as New York or Dubai.

Empire Aviation Group launched its India operations in Bangalore, in 2012 - the first overseas branch - and already has aircraft under management. EAG's managed fleet of business jets – now spanning the Middle East, Africa and India – continues to grow, with more than 20 business jets under management at any one time.
