Etihad Airways posts 19% rise in Q3 revenue

Etihad Airways has announced its third-quarter revenues jumped 19% year-on-year growth, helped by passenger growth due to code sharing and partnerships, Reuters has reported. Etihad, which has stakes in Aer Lingus and Virgin Australia, earned revenues of $1.3bn in the quarter, with its seat factor climbing to 81.2%, its highest level ever, the Abu Dhabi government-owned airline said. "Our third quarter saw continued progress across the business, with all key indicators showing strong performance, and we remain confident of delivering full-year profitability based on current market conditions," president and CEO James Hogan said, without giving details of third-quarter profits.
