GAC launches new 2015 Mitsubishi Pajero in time for Eid

Mitsubishi, represented in Oman by General Automotive Company, announced the launch of the new 2015 Mitsubishi Pajero. The face-lifted model sports a revised front-end design that revitalises and modernises its iconic shape whilst retaining its legendary on and off-road performance.

The Mitsubishi Pajero has truly become an icon in the automobile industry; with equal resonance in the Sultanate. It is a vehicle that delivers a unique blend of on and off-road capability, generous equipment levels as standard, comfort, space and luxury at highly competitive pricing. With each successive generation, the Pajero has added greater power, torque and better fuel economy.

This new 2015 model year Pajero sports a revised front grille and an aggressively shaped bumper with integrated LED daytime running lamps. The new look is a perfect complement to the Pajero's unique blend of on-road and off-road capability combined with significantly improved levels of passenger comfort.

Reinforcing the existing popularity of the Pajero, Mitsubishi Oman's General Manager, Mark Tomlinson noted,"The Mitsubishi Pajero has been a mainstay of the Sultanate's large SUV category for some time now, with the current generation of the Pajero on sale for more than 6 years. In those years, the Pajero has garnered a reputation for being a solid performer off-road and better than most on-road, thanks to its monocoque design and accomplished suspension set up. The updated design is the perfect complement to its tough, reliable and capable character."

In its latest iteration, the Pajero offers customers an updated look, packed with features that make it a pleasure to drive both on the road and off. From the power of its 3.5 or 3.8 litre MIVEC engine through to a comprehensive suite of safety features, the Pajero was designed from the ground-up to cope with any kind of driving condition. Whether highway cruising, urban driving or more challenging off-road adventures in the wadis and dunes of the Sultanate, the Pajero has proved its mettle time and again.

The roomy interior of the Pajero accommodates seven people and is equipped with a manual Dual AC, CD player with 4 speakers, Overhead Console with Sunglass storage, Map Lamp and Trip Computer with an Information Centre. Also available, is Mitsubishi's Multi Communication System (MMCS) with Voice Command via steering wheel controls, an 850-watt Rockford Acoustic Design 12-Speaker Premium Audio System and electro-chromatic rear-view mirror. As a result of its multifaceted characteristics the Pajero is extremely popular with families, businesses and individuals across the Sultanate.

Mark added, "In line with its long-standing heritage, the current generation Pajero is the perfect choice for drivers who demand a vehicle that can tackle the toughest and most inhospitable of terrains yet delivers a thoroughly composed road drive."

In addition to its technology, power and four-wheel-drive capabilities, the Pajero also offers first-class occupant and driver safety with RISE body protection, ABS braking system with EBD, electronic stability control and driver and passenger SRS airbags along with Super Select II which offers the driver a range of flexible on and off-road driving modes.

Furthermore, the new Pajero was launched just in time to benefit from Mitsubishi's exciting new Ramadan promotion. All customers who purchase a new Pajero during the promotional period will benefit from a 2-year/30,000 km free service guarantee, 6-year unlimited mileage warranty, 6-year roadside assistance and free registration on all vehicles purchased. Mitsubishi is also offering free insurance and a direct cash gift of up to OMR 1,000. In addition to the already comprehensive offer, Mitsubishi will also be providing customers with a very special Ramadan Gift in the form of a Pre-Paid cash card of up to OMR 500.
