Hyatt Hotels Corp has posted a 5.4% growth in second-quarter earnings to $39m from $37m a year earlier, Bloomberg has reported. The Chicago-based company said some 70% of Hyatt's earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation is from the US. Second-quarter revenue rose to $1.01bn from $936m a year earlier. Revenue per available room (RevPAR) climbed 8.7% for full-service hotels in North America. Overseas, RevPAR climbed 3.8%, the firm said.
