Iran partners with Portuguese firm to build railways, highways

The Iranian government has signed an agreement with a Portuguese construction firm to invest in railway and road construction projects in the Southern Iranian Fars province, Fars news has reported. Under the deal, Contactco Atlantico is to implement projects including the Shiraz-Ahwaz railway, Shiraz-Bushehr highway and Shiraz-Sadra highway.
