Iranian ports' container capacity jumps 186% since 2004

Iran has raised container capacity at the country's ports by 186% since 2004 from 1.8 million TEU to more than five million tonnes, IRIB has reported. Iran's 11 major ports have the loading and unloading capacity of up to 172 million tonnes, said the head of the Ports and Maritime Organisation Ataollah Sadr.
