Iranian Railways signs €1bn to expand infrastructure

Abdol-Ali Saheb-Mohammadi, the managing director of the Iranian Railways Co, has announced the signing of a €1bn deal with the National Development Fund and the industry ministry to boost rail infrastructures, Isna has reported. The company is currently building 11,000km of railroads across the country, and by the end of the Iranian calendar year (March 20, 2013) 420km of railroad will be constructed, added Mohammadi.
