Iraq set to receive two Chinese trains within two months

Iraqi Railways has said it is set to receive two new Chinese-build trains within the coming two months, as part of a ten-train contract and a $115m plan to develop the country's railways sector, Aswat al-Iraq has said. The handover of the remaining trains depends on completing Baghdad-Basra-Um Qasr railway line, which was delayed due to lack of funds, the firm said.
