Jeppesen, Gulf Air sign three-year service contract

Jeppesen, part of Boeing Commercial Aviation, announced that it has signed a new three-year service contract with Gulf Air to provide the airline with Jeppesen FliteDeck Pro electronic flight bag (EFB) services on iPad, Arabian Aerospace reported. The agreement allows Gulf Air to continue its digital transformation by eliminating paper-based flight information on the ground and in the air. "Jeppesen FliteDeck Pro provides all essential flight information and operations materials on iPad, which allows our crew to complete essential preparation tasks where convenient and increases situational awareness in flight," said Captain Nasser AlSalmi, Gulf Air Chief Operating Officer.
