Jordan posts 18% increase in tourism revenues

The central bank of Jordan has said the country's tourism revenues rose 18% between January and October this year, Jordan Times has reported. The kingdom's income from tourism during this period amounted to $3bn (JD2.1bn), compared with $2.5bn (around JD1.8bn) in the first 10 months of 2011.
