KAIA's new terminal to open by Q4 2014

Saudi aviation authorities have announced the North Terminal of Jeddah's King Abdulaziz International Airport that currently serves foreign airlines is to be shut down in 2014, Saudi Gazette has reported. The new terminal further south of the South Terminal is expected to be operational in the last quarter of 2014, according to the General Authority for Civil Aviation (GACA). KAIA official said all foreign flights would be diverted to the airports' main terminal, currently under construction.
