Kuwaiti cabinet slahes internet subscription fee by 40%

The Kuwaiti communications ministry has instructed internet service providers (ISPs) to cut subscription fees for domestic connections by at least 40%, Kuwait Times has reported. The reduction aims to ensure the availability of the service to all segments of the society, the ministry said. The decision also bans ISPs from imposing a bandwidth cap policy on their Wi-Fi services.
