Mobile penetration in Oman down to 146%

Oman's Telecoms Regulatory Authority (TRA) has said the country's mobile penetration rate, which reached 190.29% at the end of Q4 2012, has come down dramatically to 145.8%, Muscat Daily has reported. According to the figures, the number of fixed phone lines grew by 8.9%, fixed internet subscribers by 6.8%, and mobile broadband subscribers by 15.4% over Q4 2012.
