Saudi-based National Chemical Carriers (NCC) has agreed with Odfjell Tankers (Odfjell) to dissolve their pool of 40,000 to 45,000 dwt coated chemical tankers effective June 1. The pool, managed by the Dubai-based joint venture company NCC Odfjell Chemical Tankers (NOCT), was founded in 2009 and commenced operations in 2010. Thirteen of the ships in the pool are owned by NCC, and five ships are owned and/or controlled by Odfjell. NCC is 80% owned by Bahri and 20% by Sabic.
