NCTH reports 21.7% increase in H1 profits

Abu Dhabi-based National Corporation for Tourism and Hotels (NCTH) has said its net profits for the first half of the year grew 21.7% to Dhs61.1m, compared with the same period in 2012, The National has reported. The company, which is the owner of the InterContinental Abu Dhabi and of the Cheers beverage store brand, attributed the rise to growth in income from hotels in the emirate and cash from retail operations.
