14 new aircraft to join Etihad's fleet in 2013

James Hogan, president and chief executive of Etihad Airways has said the carrier has placed orders for 90 aircraft, of which 14 are set to join the fleet in 2013, Times of Oman has reported. Of this, 40 planes are Boeing 787s and Etihad's order is considered as the single largest order for Dreamliners. Currently, Etihad has 73 aircraft in service covering 86 destinations, said Hogan.
