Abu Dhabi–based Tasweek Real Estate Development and Marketing's Chief Executive Masood Al Awar announced that it will launch its own hotel brand in Malaysia by the end of the year. The Emirati group already owns a luxury resort in Malaysia, the Casabrina Vacation Villas. Masood Al Awar said the resort will soon be rebranded as part of a wider strategy to bring the brand to the UAE, Trade Arabia reported. The new hotel brand will be trialed in Malaysia before being introduced to the local market, he added. Al Awar also revealed that Tasweek will be launching two mixed-use hotel apartment developments in Thailand and Indonesia next year.
