Nile cruise blaze kills five

Five Egyptians lost their lives and another two were injured this week in a fire on a cruise boat carrying holidaymakers down the Nile River in Egypt. The MS Aurora was taking tourists through Luxor when the fire broke out in the engine room, quickly spreading throughout the boat. The 43 tourists on board were evacuated safely to another vessel, but five Egyptians trying to extinguish the fire were either trapped by the flames or drowned after falling into the river. The other two injured were also Egyptian.
