Wayne Pearce, the CEO of Oman Air has said he was confident of the carrier's growth in all areas of its business throughout 2012, Muscat Daily has reported. The airline's revenue in the first half of this year in both the passenger and cargo segments grew 28% and 33%, respectively, over the same period last year. "We have had tremendous cooperation from the ministry of tourism, which has helped ensure that even more visitors come to Oman," Pearce said. Oman Air's fleet currently comprises four Airbus A330-200s, three Airbus A330-300s, 15 Boeing 737-700s/800s, two Embraer E175s and two ATR 42s. Two more Embraer E175s are on order.
