Oman Air may upgrade 787s order

Oman Air is studying replacing some of its planned Boeing 787-8s with larger variants and said a new wet-lease freighter service is expected to be inaugurated by the end of 2013, ATW has reported. "We're looking at converting the last two or three 787s to -9s or even -10s," Oman's Air's chief executive, Wayne Pearce said. Upgrading to the largest -10 model would give seat economics similar to those of the Boeing 747-8 or Airbus A380, he said.
