According to data released by Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA), some 61,406 people visited the Gulf country between April and June this year, more than 60% (43,108) of whom were business visitors, the Peninsula has reported. Of the total 238,962 arrivals in the second quarter of 2013, more than half (144,491) were from Saudi Arabia. The UAE ranked second with a figure of 28,712, closely followed by Bahrain (26,433), Oman (24,569), and Kuwait came in last with only 14,757 arrivals. The total number of European business visitors during the period reached 5,719, the data showed.
